AMARANTH WILL PROTECT LIVER IN DIABETES AND MEDICINE ADMISSION

Whole treatises have been written about the benefits and healing properties of Amaranth. The plant is rich in beneficial amino acids: lysine, arginine, histidine, cysteine, phenylalanine, leucine, isoleucine, valine, threonine, methionine, tryptophan and tyrosine are present in large quantities. In the Philippines, they are treated for psoriasis, acne and eczema. Amaranthus viridis is widely used in traditional folk Indian and Nepalese medicine to reduce pain and as antipyretic.

In other parts of the world, it is used to treat the urogenital system, venereal diseases such as anthelmintic, diuretic, anti-inflammatory, anti-ulcer, analgesic, antiemetic and laxative. It is used for problems with appetite and respiratory tract, including asthma. All the advantages of Amaranth not count. By the way, its application can be found in our article “What is squalene or an amazing hydrocarbon in details”.

Liver and diabetes
It is well known that any changes in the body affect the condition and function of the liver.
Due to changes in protein metabolism in diabetes, it suffers the most. Synthesis of amino acids is disturbed, which is also reflected in it not in the best way. As a result, cirrhosis or liver failure develops. The complications of diabetes include non-alcoholic fatty disease and hepatocellular carcinoma.

Thus, the threat of liver disease accompanies diabetics for life. The level of sugar and “bad” cholesterol in the blood, blood pressure and the cardiovascular system have a strong influence on the patient’s condition. Very often, in the initial stage of diabetes, patients are diagnosed with non-alcoholic steatosis or fatty hepatosis. Fat deposits accumulate in the liver, leading to serious consequences. And Amaranth is able to effectively deal with these problems. If interested, read the articles “Amaranth Against Atherosclerosis” and “Amaranth Oil for Ischemic Disease and Hypertension.”

Running processes lead to cirrhosis. And it is deadly. In this regard, therapy for diabetes should be comprehensive and include the maintenance of the functioning of the liver with the regeneration of its tissues.

Important diet with tight control of fat intake. Vitamin therapy is beneficial for patients with metabolic disorders. They strengthen the immune system, inevitably decreasing with the development of diabetes. Overweight significantly worsens the clinical picture. Therefore, the fight against it is paramount. And here Amaranth reveals to the patients the maximum of his unlimited possibilities.

What else is needed for treatment
Diabetes is just one, perhaps the most vivid example. Refusal from bad habits and maintaining a healthy lifestyle – the key to recovery from any disease. Everyone knows about these rules, but few follow. But you can help yourself not only with medicines. Severe dietary restrictions will further strengthen the immune system, cleanse the body and blood from toxins. Such a diet is useful in many diseases, for example, alcoholism – on the effects on the liver, it is generally in the first place.

Hepatoprotectors and antioxidants are extremely important for inhibiting the development of hepatic metabolism. Properly selected drugs of these groups improve the state of the microflora and have a positive effect on the patient’s well-being.

Sick liver affects the functioning of the pancreas. Glucose is worse processed into fats, resulting in the formation of cholesterol. The blood transports it to other organs, the vessels begin to break, and so on. Atherosclerosis, ischemic disease, heart attack, atherosclerosis – waiting for a whole bunch of diseases.

Liver cleaning is considered one of the most effective non-surgical solutions to the problems of toxin excretion and blood purification. As a rule, it is carried out with the help of preparations created on the basis of medicinal plants. That is, these are natural products that do not harm.

What will help Amaranth
Indian researchers decided to study the hepatoprotective effect of a water-alcohol solution from Amaranth inflorescences on liver toxicity caused by paracetamol therapy. Why paracetamol? The experiment was conducted on rats that have almost no diabetes. In addition, the possibility of restoring the liver as a whole was studied.

Paracetamol is considered one of the most common components of pain medication. He took each and more than once. A one-time dose of 10 g of this “miraculous” means in the same magical way causes centrodal, that is, instantaneous, liver necrosis.

Animals were divided into five groups. Individuals of the first received a single daily dose of sodium carboxymethylcellulose for 14 days. This is the usual food stabilizer E466. Rats of the second group received a single dose of 3 g / kg paracetamol orally on the fourteenth day. Animals from the third and fourth groups regularly received the drug from Amaranth and paracetamol, and the fifth – silymarin and paracetamol in various combinations.

At the end of the animals opened, drained the blood and examined the liver. At the same time, the oral cavities were examined for the toxic effect of the Amaranth solution. Immediately we plant, there were no signs of harmful effects.

In liver tissues of rats taking paracetamol, lipid peroxidation, a significant decrease in glutathione tripeptide (GSH) level and total thiol level were detected. That is, the antioxidant capacity of the organs of these animals were reduced. As for the blood, in rats who took Amaranth, the content of bilirubin was reduced in a stronger way.

The content of liver enzymes in the blood turned out to be different: the use of Amaranth leveled out the harmful effects of paracetamol to the maximum. This is also confirmed by studies on histopathology. Diffuse changes were less in the liver of rats who took amaranth tincture.

Indian scientists explain the truly magical effect by the presence of amino acids, flavanoids, terpenoids, saponins, glycosides and phenolic compounds in the composition of Amaranth. The drug can be used in sufficiently large doses. For example, a dose of 2000 mg / kg did not cause any concern to Indian doctors.

It is worth noting that this is not the only such experiment. In another, previously conducted (also in India), the antioxidant properties of Amaranth leaves and their possible effect on metabolic processes were evaluated. The experiment was also conducted on rats and lasted 12 weeks. It was a specially designed diet for animals, built on a diet with the inclusion of dehydrated leaves Amaranth.

At the end, the blood and liver of the animals was thoroughly examined. The results were largely identical to those described above, and in some respects the diet exceeded expectations!

Thus, it is scientifically proven that Amaranth is an excellent hepatoprotector and antioxidant. This means that drugs from it can be used to correct possible negative effects and side effects in any disease, including diabetes.
