The flow of time rushes so fast that almost every one of us feels himself a prisoner. Trying to catch up with something ghostly, flashing far ahead, we rush at great speed towards the unknown, without noticing turns and stops.

We can take a pause and take a break only in our native walls, among things loved by the heart. Especially for us, handmade objects are expensive, because they are a part of the soul, thoughts, moods.

Even ordinary soap – the most familiar attribute of bath procedures – is able to deliver aesthetic pleasure. Only it is not about the store product in an attractive package, but about a home remedy – unique and useful.

The disadvantages of store soap

Shopping soap contains ingredients that affect the skin in a negative way. These are synthetic additives, aggressive components, chemical fillers. For soap-producing enterprises, such components work to reduce the cost of the product, and hence increase its competitiveness.

To the average consumer, these same components cause maximum harm: they thin the skin surface, cause its dryness and flaking, and reduce the resistance of external adverse factors. All this negative is compounded by the use of hard water, causing an unpleasant feeling of tightness and discomfort. The skin loses its elasticity, moisture and is aging prematurely.

Therefore, in the care of their own health, it is especially important to use cosmetics containing only natural ingredients. The product made by hand, carefully cares for the skin, is environmentally friendly, unique in form and content.

Components for homemade soap
Making soap with your own hands is an exciting creative process in which the form and content of a cosmetic product depend on the master’s imagination. A home product can be presented in the form of multi-colored pieces or be a real work of art, the people who use it will always be sure of the usefulness and naturalness.

The main components used in home soap manufacture are:

  • coffee, sea salt, ground sesame seeds, oatmeal – give the product properties of scrub;
  • coconut, crushed almonds, milk powder – optimally moisturize the skin;
  • dried medicinal herbs (chamomile, yarrow, celandine, oregano, string) – soften, disinfect and regenerate the skin;
  • propolis tincture, honey – relieve signs of fatigue and irritation;
  • cosmetic clay – helps maximize cleansing;
  • infusions of medicinal herbs – have anti-inflammatory and healing effects.

About the benefits of essential oils
An important component in natural soap are essential oils, each of which affects the skin in different ways.

Tea tree oil has antiseptic properties. The best product in the fight against acne. Optimal in the care of problem skin.
Fir oil reduces inflammation, rejuvenates, tones the skin, has a smoothing effect.
Lemon oil. It is recommended for any skin type, has a rejuvenating effect, slows down the aging process. It helps cleanse the pores and normalize the production of sebum. Effective whitening agent.
Orange oil. It is optimal for the care of rough, dry, hardened skin. Restores the sebaceous glands.
Rose oil. A unique tool that stimulates cell regeneration, which makes it popular in the care of fading skin. Regular use of ether helps to increase the elasticity and firmness of the skin, as well as smooth fine wrinkles.
Camphor oil. Effective for skin whitening. Eliminates excessive sweating. Regulates the process of sebum.
Ylang-ylang oil. A universal product for the care of any type of skin, contributing to its rejuvenation, softening, soothing, moisturizing.
Where to begin?
The initial stage of the entertaining process is the grinding (rubbing on a grate or cutting into small pieces) of a soap base, which can be ordinary baby soap or a specially designed product (white or transparent), which can be purchased in a specialized store.

Next, the crushed soap is recommended to melt in a water bath and, while the tool is boiled, it can be tinted. To do this, a small portion of the molten soap base should be poured into a separate container and add the powder dye (approximately, at the tip of the knife). To stir thoroughly. Then the painted soap base needs to be poured back and mixed thoroughly until the total soap mass is completely dyed.

“Note: To save the required structure of the soap base, it is not recommended to heat it above 60 ° C.”

An important ingredient is base oil.
In the process of heating, you should add base oil: amaranth, almond, olive, apricot – any. The action of this component, which is the real storehouse of valuable substances, is aimed at:

  • stimulation of the regeneration of the skin,
  • removal of dirt, dust, residues of cosmetics;
  • effective skin cleansing.

From the presented “oil” range, special attention should be paid to the amaranth product, which is characterized by a subtle unobtrusive aroma and a pleasant nutty taste. The unique oil obtained from amaranth seeds by cold pressing contains such substances as:

  • vitamin E, a neutralizing effect in the skin of free radicals – the root causes of its premature wilting;
  • vitamins A, B, D – have a beneficial effect on the skin;
  • magnesium is a mineral of feminine beauty and tranquility;
  • phytosterols – protecting the skin from negative external factors.

Squalene – a unique component of amaranth oil
Speaking of amaranth oil, it is impossible not to mention its most important component – squalene. A unique substance seizes oxygen, saturates the tissues and organs of the human body, thereby preventing the onset of oncological diseases. After all, the main reason for the formation of malignant tumors is considered to be the lack of oxygen and an excess of oxidants that destroy cells.

Squalene is able to increase the body’s immunity several times. Possessing anti-carcinogenic, antimicrobial and fungicidal properties, this substance is part of many drugs. Being the main component of amaranth oil, squalene easily enters the body, where it activates the regenerative processes and has a beneficial effect on the skin: enriches cells with oxygen, prevents moisture loss, protects against ultraviolet rays, prevents the harmful effects of free radicals, which slows down the aging process of the skin.

For every 100 grams of soap base, languishing in a water bath, it is recommended to add 1-1.5 ml of base oil. Accurately measure this amount using a teaspoon or a medical syringe.

In the midst of a soap process
In the process of heating, it is necessary to quietly add hot (but not boiling) milk, cream, water or herbal decoction to the soapy mass. The melted base is required to remove from the fire and add various ingredients: essential oil, glycerin, flavors, coffee, dried herbs, ground nutshells and others.

Then the finished mass should be poured into molds (confectionery, ceramic, children’s, plastic – whatever you like), pre-lubricated with olive oil. To avoid the formation of bubbles, the surface of the soap is recommended to be sprayed with alcohol from a spray bottle.

“On a note. In order for natural supplements (coffee, poppy, crushed shells, etc.) not to settle on the bottom of the mold, but to spread evenly throughout the soapy “space”, you should not rush to pour the finished product into the mold. It is recommended to stir the already painted, flavored, filled with additives mass using a wooden spoon or chopstick before it acquires a jelly-like state. As soon as it becomes clear that the soap “grabbed” (the additives stopped settling, and the structure became dense), it should be poured into molds immediately. ”

In the molds, soap should be left to set; It will take no more than 2-3 days. After this period, the product obtained as a result of a fascinating action, is ready for use. It can be removed from the molds and enjoy the result.

Soaps not intended for quick use are recommended to be stored in a plastic bag or packed in cling film. It is advisable for these purposes to choose a cool dark place.
