You will need:

  • 1 cup amaranth groats;

  • 1 cup of amaranth seeds washed in a sieve;

  • 1 cup amaranth grain;
  • 1 cup oats;
  • 3 cups purified water;
  • 1 tablespoon of buttermilk or other acidic liquid;
  • 3-4 glasses of almond milk (more if necessary);
  • 2 tablespoons of almond oil;
  • 2 teaspoons of a mixture of hemp seeds and ground flax;
  • 2 tsp quinoa seeds;
  • 1 tbsp honey;
  • a pinch of salt;
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon;
  • 1/2 tsp cardamom;
  • apples (chopped or chopped);
  • berries;
  • nuts
  • butter.

Soak amaranth and oats in purified water and buttermilk overnight. In the morning – rinse the grains in warm water. In a medium saucepan, mix the grains and everything else, slowly bring to a boil, and then cook over low heat until the desired consistency is reached. This will take about 10-15 minutes. To obtain a creamy consistency of porridge, it is recommended to take:

  • 4 (and not three, as in most recipes) glasses of water;
  • 1 cup amaranth;
  • honey as a sweetener;
  • dried fruits / fresh fruits;
  • a handful of toasted nuts on top for decoration.

The final step in the preparation of amaranth porridge should be thorough mixing.

It is better to heat such porridge with the addition of a small amount of water.

Dr. Ax prefers cooking porridge with amaranth also with four glasses of water, but adds another liquid ingredient, as well as other ingredients. To prepare a dish according to his recipe, you will need:

  • 1 cup amaranth seeds;
  • 4 glasses of water;
  • fresh or dried fruit to choose from;
  • raw honey;
  • ground cinnamon;
  • light coconut milk.

It is necessary to mix amaranth seeds and water in a saucepan, bring to a boil over medium heat, then reduce the heat and continue cooking, stirring, for 20-25 minutes.
