This plant is rich in essential proteins, fats and carbohydrates for the vital functions of the body, but much of it is taken up by dietary fiber. The latter is achieved with the help of phytosterols – substances that resemble cholesterol in their structure, but have anti-atherosclerotic activity, the ability to prevent the formation of malignant tumors, eliminate harmful substances and strengthen the immune system. According to research results, daily consumption of 2-3 grams of phytosterols for 3-4 weeks reduces the level of “bad” cholesterol by almost 10%, and as a result, the risk of coronary heart disease, for example, decreases by 20-25%. Moreover, these substances are contained only in plant foods.
Squalene, a substance with the ability to attract oxygen and saturate all parts of our body with it, works to reduce the level of “bad” cholesterol. This happens immediately, as soon as the agent is in the body: squalene reacts with water, releases oxygen from it, which enters all tissues and systems. Since the human body is 90% water, huge oxygen resources are created. A feature of squalene is that it freely penetrates cell membranes and works already inside the cells, freeing them from harmful substances and strengthening the defenses.
